Redfall is an open world first person shooter developed by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks.
It is set on the titular island of Redfall, which has been blocked off from the rest of the world and taken over by vampires.
The Rook is a hulking enemy that can appear based on how often you anger the greater Vampire hierarchy with your choices.
"Things should feel more challenging because you have more players, but it isn’t a flat multiplier by any means," the developer explains.
Every home and convenience store is rife with lore, which provides more information on the back story, as per Arkane's Ben Horne.
A glimpse of the various locations that players will explore in the town of Redfall is showcased, along with more trippy surroundings.
If you're looking to own a physical disc of Redfall, your only choice will be the Xbox Series X version.
It looks like Redfall's physical copies on PC and Xbox Series X will come with a download code for the game rather than a disc.
Though you will have the option to play through all of Redfall solo, you'll still require a persistent online connection to play the shooter.
"I'm just really encouraged by the strength that Bethesda's going to show in our portfolio," says the Xbox boss.
You'll need some strong hardware to run the open-world co-op shooter when it launches on May 2nd for Xbox Series X/S and PC.
The Bite Back Edition will come with a Hero Pass, the Throwback Outfit Pack, a Laser Beam multi-weapon skin, and the Tactical Knife Stake weapon attachment.

"The pool that Game Pass offers is huge for us. It's kind of shocking, and scary in a way," says Arkane's studio director Harvey Smith.
"We got insight from some of our sister studios; the people who worked on DOOM came over and gave us feedback a couple of times," says creative director Ricardo Bare.
While it may feature four playable characters in co-op, according to its developers, Redfall is closer to Far Cry than it is to Left 4 Dead.
