Witchfire is a first person shooter developed and published by The Astronauts.
It is an open world experience set in a dark fantasy world.
The Hunger provides powerful bullets on reloading after critical hits, but it becomes more potent at higher Attunement levels.
Different weapon types, magic, and enemies for the rogue-lite shooter are showcased ahead of its early access release for PC in early 2023.
Though a few months were "lost" with the redesign, development is back on track, says The Astronauts co-founder Adrian Chmielarz.

The Astronauts shared some brief new gameplay on Twitter and promised to discuss "release date, features, and other thrilling stuff" next week.
The Astronauts' dark shooter seems to have an RPG-lite bent.
The snippet of gameplay gives an idea of the game’s speed and some of its mechanics.
"Nothing dramatic is happening. We’re working on the game every day," says the developer.
