Redfall

Rumored as “Omen” over the past few weeks, Arkane Studios’ vampire-killing first person shooter was finally revealed at the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase. It’s called Redfall after the town in Massachusetts, though the world has effectively gone to Hell. It’s out in Summer 2022 for Xbox Series X/S and PC exclusively. Check out the first trailer below.

The story sees a legion of vampires using some kind of magic to block out the sun. As a result, Redfall has been cut off from the world and its survivors are left to fend for themselves. Fortunately, each playable hero offers their own unique abilities, talents and gadgets to survive the endless night.

Redfall is an open world title with support for co-op, if the trailer didn’t give it away. It will be available to play day one on Xbox Game Pass. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months, which hopefully includes some actual gameplay.
