WILD HEARTS has turned quite a few heads since EA and Koei Tecmo unveiled it, and with every new showing, the game has looked more and more like a legitimate contender to Monster Hunter’s unrivaled throne. More new details have also now emerged on the upcoming action RPG in the lead-up to its launch that fans will be happy to hear about.

In a recent Reddit AMA session, WILD HEARTS’ executive producer Lewis Harvey Lewis Harvey confirmed that the game will feature no microtransactions whatsoever, and that all post-launch DLC will be free. And what exactly will that entail? While precise details haven’t been revealed yet, Harvey says the plan is to add more Kemono (which is what monsters are called in WILD HEARTS) to the game after launch.

Speaking of Kemono, Harvey also revealed that the game will feature 20 of them in its launch roster, not all of which will be revealed prior to the game’s revealed. Meanwhile, in the same AMA, it was also confirmed that WILD HEARTS will feature Performance and Quality graphics modes on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

WILD HEARTS launches on February 17 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
