Game Overview:
The Wolf Among Us 2 is a narrative adventure game developed and published by Telltale Games.
It is set six months after the events of The Wolf Among Us.
"We're committed to delivering the sequel fans deserve and doing what's right for the game while protecting the health of our team," Telltale Games says.
Having started development in 2020 on Unreal Engine 4, Telltale confirms its highly anticipated sequel recently switch to Unreal Engine 5.
Both titles are coming in 2023. However, Telltale Games confirms that there won't be any updates on The Wolf Among Us 2 "for a while."
Even if you haven't played the original The Wolf Among Us, you should still be able to easily follow the story told in its upcoming sequel.
New trailer sees Bigby Wolf fights the Tin Woodman and The Scarecrow of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (Dorothy is also present).
Well over two years on from the game's initial re-reveal, Telltale Games will finally be providing an update on The Wolf Among Us 2.
New details have been revealed in the latest issue of Game Informer, like the script being finalized and production being in full swing.
Telltale Games will have more details to share on both, the recently announced The Expanse, as well as The Wolf Among Us 2.
While the game did miss The Game Awards, a new update will come with the next issue of Game Informer
It's unclear if the project is still episodic, however.
Five episodes, planned as a cross-gen release.
Telltale and AdHoc are looking to revive another beloved adventure title.
The project restarted fresh with a new engine.
This is going to be a long wait.
"We felt it was important to bring back the creative leadership on the title," says the new Telltale's CEO Jamie Ottilie.
The sequel is coming to consoles and PC via the Epic Games store.
