The Witcher 3 Could See Improvements on Scorpio – Rumour

Geraldo in 4K? Pinch me!

Project Scorpio, Microsoft’s next big console (or mid-gen refresh, whatever you want to call it), will be showcased tomorrow. However, if Windows Central senior editor Jez Corden is to be believed, CD Projekt RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt could see improvements with its visuals without an update.

Corden teased on Twitter that The Witcher 3 could be in 4K on Scorpio, continuing the thread of another user who wanted Quantum Break at the same resolution. He later teased that improvements could occur due to change-resilient games being boosted. This would allow for games like The Witcher 3 to look better on Scorpio without any updates being needed.

Again, Corden hasn’t outright confirmed anything so take this all with a grain of salt. Still, it would be interesting to see how other games could improve without having to put out specific Scorpio updates.

Project Scorpio is set to be revealed on April 6th. What do you expect from it? Let us know below.
