In November of this year, it will have been six year since Skyrim originally launched for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, and though the Skyrim Remaster launch last year and the upcoming Switch release have all made fans of the series and game happy, what we’re all really waiting for is word on the new Elder Scrolls game. Bethesda executives have stated time and time again that is not going to be anytime soon, and Bethesda’s Pete Hines has now come out and said the very same thing.
When asked when we would be hearing about Elder Scrolls 6, Hines tweeted that “it will be many years” before Bethesda talks about it. When another fan told him that he was confident that we would hear about the next Elder Scrolls title at E3 this year, Hines once again that “it would be many years” before that happens and “it’s just the truth.”
While it seems like we’re not going to hear about an Elder Scrolls 6 for some time to come, there’s certainly no harm talking about it, right? We recently wrote an article on The Elder Scrolls 6 and Fallout 5 and what the two franchises could learn from each other. You can read it here.
@StorylifeRBLX it will be many years before we are talking about it.
