The Callisto Protocol - Dani

Striking Distance Studios’ The Callisto Protocol has received a new update on all platforms, which features “combat improvements.” There are also fixes for performance and stability, localization optimizations and “general” quality of life changes.

Sadly, none of this was detailed, so we don’t know how combat has improved or what quality of life changes were implemented. On the plus side, the developer confirmed that PS4 Trophies now sync via the PlayStation Network.

The Callisto Protocol launched this month for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. Despite running well on PS5, PC faced several stuttering issues, while the Xbox Series X/S version faced problems with its ray-traced reflections. Both have seen improvements, but sadly, the sci-fi survival horror is a disappointment in many other ways.

For more details, check out our review here. The developer has free content and paid DLC planned for the coming months, from Hardcore Mode and New Game Plus to Contagion, Riot, and story DLC.
