After launching exclusively for the Nintendo Switch in March 2021, Capcom’s Monster Hunter Rise is now finally available on PC through Steam. The story sees the player becoming a Hunter in Kamura Village and fending off against the mysterious Rampage that threatens to overwhelm it.
Along with the 14 signature weapon trees, new features like the Wirebug have been added that allows for grappling, quick maneuvers and new skills. There are several monsters to hunt throughout the story with new threats like Aknosom, Almudron and the new flagship Magnamalo each posing their own challenges. Players will also have to engage in tower defense-like quests in the Rampage in order to thwart a horde of invading monsters.
Monster Hunter Rise on PC supports up to 4K resolution and unlocked framerates along with HDR and ultrawide monitors. It also features all of the previously release collaboration DLC and free title updates which add even more monsters and gear to the mix (along with some snazzy new screen filters).
