Metroid Dread is a Metroidvania action-adventure game developed by Mercury Steam and Nintendo, and published by Nintendo.
It is the fifth mainline instalment in the 2D Metroid saga, and a sequel to Metroid Fusion. It is the first new 2D Metroid entry in nearly two decades.
