LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Trailer Released

The newest title in the LEGO game franchise.

This past Saturday, Marvel Studios released a trailer for the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes game.

From the looks of things, we can expect all of our favorite members of The Avengers squad, plus a whole host of familiar faces. Reportedly, the plot begins with Silver Surfer crashing on earth, shattering his surfboard into several cosmically powerful blocks. This prompts Nick Fury to assemble the greatest heroes in the marvel Universe to find them… Unfortunately, the villains of the marvel Universe get wind as well; making for what we hope will be some superb Marvel crossover action.

The game play of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes will reflect that of previous releases in the LEGO series, most notably the LEGO Star Wars saga, and LEGO Batman 2. The signature action adventure game play with its puzzle solving mechanics intertwined with characters and plot from our favorite franchises is what makes fans continue to eat up the LEGO video game franchise.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is set to release October 18th, 2013 and will release across Windows, Nintendo DS, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Xbox 360, and the Xbox One.
