Last week’s charts for weekly physical software sales in the UK saw Hogwarts Legacy dominating proceedings with a launch that was 80% bigger than what Elden Ring managed upon its release last year. The Gfk has now released its latest charts (via GamesIndustry), and Avalanche Software’s open world action RPG has held on to the top spot, in spite of a 66% drop in sales from its launch week.
Plenty of new games launched last week, but none of them have managed to break into the top 10. Square Enix’s Theatrhythm Final Bar Line debuts at No. 16 and Bandai Namco’s Tales of Symphonia Remastered at No. 17, with WILD HEARTS coming in at No. 26, and Wanted: Dead slotting in at No. 34.
The top 10 itself sees plenty of evergreen sellers occupying positions once again, with FIFA 23 (No. 2), God of War Ragnarok (No. 3), and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (No. 4) all holding on to their positions from the previous week. Others like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Grand Theft Auto 5, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Splatoon 3 are also featured.
