Here Is How You Can Get Inside The Gears of War 4 Beta

We are moving every closer to Gears of War 4 launching sometime this year but before that there is going to be a beta for people to test the game out. One of the ways you can get your golden ticket to the beta is by playing Gears of War Ultimate Edition, though there is a bit of a catch. Anyone who has played Ultimate Edition with an Internet connection on their Xbox One will be one of those that gets early access to the Gears of War 4 beta.

The other catch is that you need to play the game by March 1st. That is the time when access to beta is apparently locked shut. You only need to play the story mode or multiplayer for a few minutes and you will be set. It appears that the console will do an automatic check at some point that you own Ultimate Edition and accordingly set you up for beta access.

If you have qualified, you can get plenty excited since Phil Spencer thinks Gears of War 4 is making “excellent progress.” Gears of War 4 doesn’t have an official release date yet but it’s expected later this year.
