There’s no shortage of massive new games coming out over the course of 2022, but there’s plenty of significant ports releasing as well. The PC gaming scene in particular is starting the year on a high note, with two major ports- Monster Hunter Rise, which is available via Steam now, and God of Warwhich launches tomorrow. Anticipation for both releases has been understandably high, and that’s being reflected in their sales as well.

Currently, both games are sitting on top of the Steam sales charts, with Monster Hunter Rise taking the top spot and God of War coming in right behind it. Monster Hunter Rise has, as we previously reported, enjoyed strong engagement as well, having hit a peak concurrent player count of over 90,000 players on the day of its Steam launch. It should be interesting to see how God of War fares when it launches for the platform tomorrow.

Both ports are certainly deserving of their success, having received widespread praise in reviews across the board- including ours. You can read our Monster Hunter Rise PC review through here, and our God of War PC review through here.
