Well known Microsoft insider ekim has been hinting at a special Gears of War 4 themed version of the upcoming Xbox One S for a while now– and today, he showed us what it will look like. The gorgeous console comes in the dark crimson red that is almost synonymous with the series (the color extends to the console and the controller), is embossed with the series’ icons, has 2TB of on board storage space, and comes with a code for the game, that is Xbox Anywhere compatible.
All of this is just $449, making this one of the most deliciously tempting deals Microsoft has had for the Xbox One yet- and considering that Microsoft have had a lot of great deals for the Xbox One, that really is saying something.
Ekim does note that the price of the bundle may yet change, but frankly, I don’t see Microsoft pricing this bundle any higher than $450- at that point, they approach the psychological $500 barrier, and that never goes well for anyone trying to sell a console.
