Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 6

Epic Games’ Fortnite has been one of the most popular and most discussed games around for a long time now, and the developer has capitalized on this popularity by making the game available on as many platforms as possible- such as Nintendo Switch.

With the game’s latest update on the Nintendo Switch, Fortnite has added support for motion aiming and flight stick controls, allowing for greater flexibility when aiming. When motion controls are turned on, players would be able to make adjustments to their aim using the controller’s gyro sensor. When Flight Stick controls are turned on, the right analog stick will be used to quickly flick in a certain direction following which players will use gyro-aim to make fine adjustments to their aim. Additionally, there have been a couple of bug fixes and changes to the game’s competitive mode.

Fortnite‘s Chapter 3 has been met with great enthusiasm from fans, and additions like the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man have been surprisingly good. However, fans planning to play the game on the upcoming Steam Deck might be disappointed, as Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney has already confirmed the game to be incompatible with the hardware.

Patch Notes v19.30:

COMPETITIVE NOTES

  • Removed Armored Walls from Supply Drop loot in competitive playlists.

MAJOR BUG FIXES

  • Fixed an issue involving some players only having two Tent slots available, as opposed to the intended three.
  • Fixed an issue on mobile involving build pieces not being placed after players double-tapped the associated icon.
  • Fixed an issue — occurring in competitive playlists only — involving Spider-Man’s Web-Shooters dropping from eliminated players with the full 20 uses even if they didn’t have the full 20 before the player was eliminated.
