Fortnite Disco Domination

Have you ever wanted to capture a point while also getting down, Funky Town-style? Epic Games’ Fortnite: Battle Royale may have just the thing for you. The most recent Message of the Day indicated that a new limited time mode called Disco Domination is coming.

Similar to King of the Hill, Disco Domination involves capturing and holding dance floors in various parts of the map. Even better, using different emotes will earn more points. We’re interested to see where the violence enters the picture and what other conditions are necessary for winning. But it’s a neat concept that leverages Fortnite’s wackiness all the same.

Though Epic didn’t indicate when the mode would be dropping (simply saying it’s “Coming Soon”), it could arrive in this week’s update. Stay tuned for more details. In the meantime, Season 6 is underway and brings new skins, emotes, and other rewards, thanks to the newest Battle Pass. It also significantly changes the map, introducing spooky new locations and a floating island powered by the purple cube that’s roaming the world.
