The leaks continue to flow for E3 2021 especially when it comes to Ubisoft Forward. After Nintendo revealed Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope accidentally on purpose, Far Cry 6’s Season Pass seemingly appeared as a YouTube ad. You can check out a screencapped version of the same on Reddit courtesy of lewisrogers.

While it’s no secret that the open world shooter has a Season Pass, the contents for the same have been unknown till now. It seems that players will control past Far Cry villains in their own adventures. There’s Vaas (Far Cry 3), Pagan Min (Far Cry 4) and Joseph Seed (Far Cry 5). The tail end of the ad actually provides a retelling of a Far Cry 3 story event with Jason Brody kicking a rock attached to Vaas into the abyss instead of the other way around.

Playing as these villains is somewhat weird but makes sense – they were all extremely popular so bringing them back allows for some easy crowd pleasing. Whether these different DLC will offer fun stories and gameplay is a different matter though. Ubisoft Forward starts at 12 PM PT today while Far Cry 6 releases on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, PS5, PC and Google Stadia on October 7th. Stay tuned for an official trailer in the meantime.
