Bandai Namco and CyberConnect2 have announced the next DLC for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, Chaos at the World Tournament. As teased last month, its setting is the 23rd World Martial Arts Tournament during the Dragon Ball anime arc. Famous competitors include Tien, Yamcha, Krillin, Chiaotzu, Yajirobe, and Chi-Chi (yes, seriously).
However, it’s renowned for the battle between Piccolo (aka Ma Junior) and Goku, all grown-up and ready to compete. Not to spoil the winner, but the finale is so over-the-top that the stadium would later need rebuilding due to the sheer destruction.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is available for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Check out our review of the base game here. It also recently launched for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 with improved visuals, 4K resolution, 60 FPS support and faster loading times. One more DLC remains as part of Season Pass 2, and it remains to be seen where the action RPG will go next. Stay tuned in the meantime.
