Electronic Arts is reportedly hosting an in-person media event for Motive Studio’s Dead Space remake in the last week of September, according to Tom Henderson on TryHardGuides. Sources claim that there will be a presentation, Q&A with the development team and hands-on time with the game.

Gameplay footage can also seemingly be recorded by the media. It’s unknown when they can reveal the new details to the general public. But Henderson says it could be “within a week or two,” going by other recent EA media events.

The Dead Space remake is out on January 27th, 2023 for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. It retains the story, environments and base gameplay while adding numerous visual improvements, revamped sound effects, and new mechanics. There’s a new dismemberment system, and the Zero-G sections will have Dead Space 2’s 360-degree freedom and thrusters. Gunner Wright is also confirmed to reprise his role as Isaac Clarke. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
