Dambuster Studios’ Dead Island 2 has received a new trailer showcasing the sixth and final playable Slayer. Bruno is a “calculating hustler,” skilled at executing heists and other high-stakes theft before transitioning full-time to the slaying of the undead. Unlike some of his allies, he’s more agile and prefers to backstab zombies rather than take them head-on. Check out the trailer below.
Backstab is actually the name of an Innate Skill. It grants a moderate damage boost when attacking the undead from behind. Rapid Reprisal increases his Agility and Heavy Attack Charges when blocking or dodging attacks. The strategy is to avoid damage and circle for a heavy blow to the back for maximum damage.
Dead Island 2 is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. It was to launch on April 28th, but the developer pushed the release forward to April 21st. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming weeks.
