Square Enix’s Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion seems to be on track for release this Winter. The HD remaster of the 2007 PlayStation Portable action RPG was rated by the Australian Classification Board, which gave it an “M” rating for violence. The release date could thus be announced in the coming weeks.

Developed on Unreal Engine 4, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion features HD visuals and updated 3D models in addition to new music arrangements and full voice-acting in cutscenes. The user interface is overhauled to look sleeker, and combat feels better with linkable attack combos, more accessible Limit Breaks, magic shortcuts, a Dash function, and more. There won’t be any new story elements though.

Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7 Reunion is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. It will support 60 FPS on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 while the PC version gets 120 FPS support. Stay tuned for more details and gameplay in the coming months.
