Along with debuting some new gameplay for Resident Evil 4 remake, highlighting its gorgeous visuals, Capcom also unveiled two special editions. The first is the Deluxe Edition, which includes the base game and Extra DLC Pack. The latter includes additional costumes like the Casual and Romantic outfits for Leon and Ashley, the Hero and Villain outfits and filters for Leon.
The Hero and Villain filters apply different effects, like a softer blue and harsher red, to the game’s screen. Players also receive Deluxe Weapons like the Sentinel Nine handgun and Skull Shaker lever-action shotgun. A special Treasure Map is provided, unlocking additional treasures that can’t be located using maps in-game (and thus allowing players to earn more money). Finally, there’s a Sunglasses accessory and the option to swap the soundtrack with the original.
The Collector’s Edition includes the physical game, a product code for the Extra DLC Pack, a Steelbook, a digital soundtrack, a figure of Leon, an artbook, poster, and a box. Prices have yet to be revealed, so stay tuned in the meantime.
Resident Evil 4 remake is out on March 24th, 2023, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and PS4.
