Street Fighter 6 – Hikaru Takahashi Revealed as Final Real-Time Commentator

The fighting game features eight real-time commentators with support for 13 languages before its release on June 2nd for consoles and PC.

Despite not being on the announced docket, Street Fighter 6 appeared during the Capcom Spotlight to confirm the final real-time commentator. It’s Japanese actress Hikaru Takahashi, who serves as a play-by-play commentator. Check out the reveal trailer below.

This brings the total number of real-time commentators to eight, with 13 languages supported. Previously confirmed commentators include Tasty Steve, James Chen and WWE Superstar Thea Trinidad. In addition to commentating on matches, there’s Rally support, where the commentators cheer the player on.

Street Fighter 6 launches on June 2nd worldwide for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC. Recent gameplay footage showcased Cammy, Zangief and newcomer Lily – you can check that out here, along with new screenshots and more details. In total, 18 playable fighters will be available at launch.
