Wrapping up its information drop on Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is an official FAQ which answers several lingering questions about the upcoming action RPG. Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have reaffirmed free upgrades from PS4 to PS5, with Xbox supporting Smart Delivery and Xbox Play Anywhere. Save data can also be transferred between previous and current-gen consoles for consoles, but not across platforms.
The developer also reiterated the lack of cross-platform play, though Xbox and PlayStation players can team up across their respective console generations. Steam Deck is unsupported for the title, and support for Nvidia DLSS and Intel’s XeSS will be coming in a post-launch update. The PC version supports 120 FPS (but no uncapped frame rates) and Variable Refresh Rate. The latter isn’t available for Xbox Series X or PS5.
As for multiplayer, you either team up with two other players or invite friends for a co-op session (with passwords supported). Players can also invade each other, which is something unseen in Nioh 1 and 2. There’s an option to disable Invasions, though. You also can’t specify a room’s purpose in multiplayer when recruiting other players.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty launches on March 3rd for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC, and Xbox One. Head here for details on PC requirements and here for the resolution and frame rate across all consoles.
