Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Trailer Reveals Batman; Launches May 26, 2023

A new trailer showcases the chaotic antics of the titular Suicide Squad, and shines a light on the Dark Knight of Gotham.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will see players jumping back into the DC universe, but this time in the shoes of the titular villainous group, with Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, and King Shark taking the starring role. Iconic DC heroes will still be part of the story though- but though the like of Superman and The Flash are going to be featured, they’ll be featuring in a villainous capacity, thanks to Braniac and his machinations.

A new trailer for the game was recently debuted at The Game Awards, and it confirmed another major DC superhero (or villain, in this specific case) for the game- and it’s the one that we’ve all probably been waiting for. Batman, the Caped Crusader himself, will be squaring off against the Suicide Squad- which makes sense, since the game is set in the same universe as the Batman: Arkham series. Check out the trailer below.

Crucially, it’s also been confirmed that Batman has been portrayed by Kevin Conroy in the game. Conroy, widely regarded as one of the best Batman portrayals, has played the vigilante in Batman: The Animated Series, several animated films, the aforementioned Arkham games, and more. He recently passed away at the age of 66, making Rocksteady’s upcoming game a post-humous role.

A release date for the game has also been confirmed. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is due out on May 26, 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
