Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Gameplay Showcases Insane Combat, Movement, and More

Deadshot, Harley Quinn, King Shark and Captain Boomerang team up to save Lex Luthor from The Flash, who is under Brainiac's control.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, Rocksteady’s upcoming open-world third-person shooter, finally received an extensive gameplay look. Set five years after Batman: Arkham Knight, it sees King Shark, Deadshot, Harley Quinn and Captain Boomerang tasked with killing members of the Justice League after they’re mind-controlled by Brainiac.

The gameplay sees the four trying to rescue Lex Luthor, taking on Brainiac’s forces (including a massive turret). In addition to each character’s abilities, the expanded movement is on display and looks pretty good. Harley Quinn is incredibly agile, swinging around, while Deadshot uses sniper rifles, pistols and a jetpack to hover around.

King Shark is a brutish tank that can soak up damage and gets up close while Captain Boomerang has the Speed Force gauntlet and boomerangs to take out enemies in mid-air. By the end, The Flash gets involved, and while Wonder Woman subdues him, it’s revealed that the Justice League must die.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice is out on May 26th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC.
