Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has extensive new gameplay available, showcasing its characters and combat. A behind-the-scenes video also discussed the live-service elements, including Gear Score, a Battle Pass and post-launch content. In a new FAQ, Rocksteady Studios answered several questions and confirmed that the game is fully playable solo or with up to four players in co-op.
Local co-op isn’t supported, though there is full cross-platform functionality for online co-op. Unfortunately, whether you’re playing solo or in co-op, you’ll require an internet connection. While this is likely for DRM reasons, it does raise concerns about the game’s future if support ends and servers are shut down.
Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus are also required when playing online co-op on Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Solo play won’t need these. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is out on May 26th worldwide. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
