Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp Might Launch on April 8, 2022, as per Updated Nintendo UK Listing

Recently delayed from December into Spring 2022, a recent update to the game's Nintendo UK listing may have confirmed its new release date.

Advance Wars is going to get its long-awaited revival in the not-so-distant future. Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp was supposed to bring ground-up WayForward-developed remakes of the series’ first two games this December, but unsurprisingly, that release date recently got pushed back, with Nintendo giving it a much more vague Spring 2022 launch window.

When exactly will it launch in that window though? That wasn’t something Nintendo chose to talk about, but it seems that they do have a date in mine. As spotted by @wiill64 on Twitter, the page for Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp on the Nintendo UK site mentions April 8, 2022 as the game’s launch date.

April 8 is a Friday, and we all know how much Nintendo (much like many other publishers) loves to release its games on Fridays (Advance Wars’ previously announced December 3 launch also fell on a Friday). Of course, this isn’t conclusive evidence by any means, but we do hope Nintendo provides some clarity on that soon.

Until then, we’ll keep an eye out for new updates, so stay tuned for that.
