Thanks to the recently released free-to-play demo, we now know a lot about Koei Tecmo's upcoming Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
Team Ninja's Fumihiko Yasuda has been "providing direction" on the upcoming action RPG, which releases in 2024 exclusively for PS5.
"We’re giving players their own ways to tackle all these things. That’s important to Wo Long’s game design," said Team Ninja's Masaaki Yamagiwa.
Two boss fights - Lu Bu and Zhang Liang - are also showcased along with Morale, exploration, and much more, as the demo is now live.
The demo will be available from today until September 25 only on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and will be followed by a survey.
Tokyo Game Show 2022 attendees can try out five different play styles and weapons in the demo, along with the new Morale mechanic.
Instead of one big interconnected map, levels will exist as independent sections. Various routes and secrets can be discovered, though.
It also features a Morale ranking system, which affects the difficulty of enemies, and Divine Beasts that can be summoned in combat.
